I have been diligently working to get a race up and going for Feb 7-8th. I was denied by two counties due to time constraints and various other issues. At this point our only option is to head back to Cloquet. I have secured that spot and permits will be submitted tomorrow. I have been in touch with Flickabirds and we are penciled in for feb 14-15 if Mankato still does not have enough ice. I have spoken to Bill the owner of The Lodge on Big Lake in Cloquet where we have been racing out of and he has agreed to spice up his food menu for us, for that though I need as many RSVP's as I can get so that we can get a general head count for food. As always workers will be provided lunches. I will be heading up there next Friday to scout the existing track and make modifications as needed. Any questions please let me know.
