“After viewing the cars, walk the exhibit to see art works in cast bronze, photography, paintings on canvas or simple sketches. Each Velocity 2 artist looks at the automobile, or in some cases motorcycle, in a different way, a push of clay to denote forward motion, the spray of spattered paint to demonstrate the splash of air rushing across a fender or the streak of taillights from a photographer’s point of view. All are honoring the past while pushing the creative envelope today.

The invited artists of Velocity 2 are very special and at the top of their professions. The criteria for inclusion in this exhibit were that each participant artist demonstrates a strong understanding of the automobile or motorcycle and medium in which they work. Each artist brings their passion to Velocity 2 and asks only that you spend a moment inside their vision.” --Michael Jekot, Founder of Velocity: the Art of Motion; Doug Meythaler, Co-curator
